SRC Signed Onboard ATP Equipment Localization Contract with Bombardier

After more than 2 months' communication and negotiation, SRC signed Purchasing & Technical Service Contract of CRH Automatic Train Protection (ATP) Control Unit Test Equipment & FAI Materials with Bombardier, which is a symbol of officially confirming and starting SRC’s localization work on Bombardier onboard ATP equipment.
According to the localization plan, the phase 1 project will be finished in the end of Dec. 2010, after which SRC will make all its indicators meet Bombardier’s requirements and obtain 9 production qualification certificates of onboard ATP equipment issued by Bombardier. The phase 2 project will be finished in Apr. 2011, after which SRC will obtain the other 2 production qualification certificates of onboard ATP equipment. This localization project is an event of significance for SRC to enter the high-speed railway market.
