Again! SRC Identified as Shanghai High-Tech Enterprise!

26th Dec 2008, Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality declared the second name list of enterprises identified as 2008 Shanghai High-Tech Enterprises. Shanghai Railway Communication Equipment Factory (hereinafter as SRC) is on the list and it is the sixth time for SRC to be identified with such an annual title.
In April 2008, the Central Government began to implement the Measures on Designation of High-Tech Enterprises. Then those enterprises in China that have got the title previously will have to be re-identified based on the new criteria.
The standard of the high-tech enterprise identification this time has been increased, which requires an enterprise must meet six essential conditions such as that “Enterprises registered in China shall acquire independent intellectual property right of key technology of their main products/services through independent R&D, transfer, donation, merge and acquisition and otherwise in the recent 3 years, or by possessing exclusive license of more than 5 years” and that “Products/services shall be included in the scope prescribed by Fields of High and New Technology Eligible for Primary Support of the State”, etc. Therefore, the application work has been tougher than before.
Based the title of 2003 Shanghai High-Tech Enterprise SRC won before, it set off to do the application work again for 2008. The Office of Technology Center took charge of the application work. With the personal attention and concerns from SRC top management and help from departments like Finance, Human Resource, etc., the application work was excellently finished and SRC won the special honor at the end of this year.
Identified as Shanghai High-Tech Enterprise, SRC is believed to be able to promote its scien-tech innovation ability, economic benefits and social benefits to a higher level. |
